Let's clear up the big question: what does "Double A" mean? The founders are Argyle and Alfie — so… Double A. Get it? If not, it's okay. We also sometimes forget how math works when there are cupcakes around.

But "Double A" is also a promise: everything we make is doubly good. Double the flavor, double the fun, and (depending on the batch) double the number of spoons we "accidentally" use. We bake in small batches because that's how it tastes best… and also because we are not, technically, a factory.

The real story: we became fast friends in middle school and discovered a shared love of baking — the kind where you start with "let's make cookies" and end with a sink full of dishes and a very happy family. We're ambitious, a little entrepreneurial, and fully convinced the world deserves our baking. At least that's what our parents and siblings tell us (and they're legally required to be supportive).

So we started Double A Baking: rotating treats, classic favorites, and the occasional AA Assortment (our mystery box for people who like surprises and trust us… which is brave).
